Regarding work experience
Before coming to Wycliffe Ethiopia, I worked in three organizations and started as a teacher. I also taught a subject called Social Studies for grade seventh for a year. After that, I worked for about ten years as a translator of the New Testament at SIL Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Bible Society from 2008 to 2017. In addition to this, I have also served as a teacher trainer and prepared writing lessons for the adult education Xamtanga Church-based literacy program. I then joined Wycliffe Ethiopia in 2018 as the church-based literacy program coordinator. Subsequently, from 2021, I will also be serving as a translation project manager right now. It's been six years since I joined Wycliffe.
One of the reasons why I joined Wycliffe Ethiopia is that it is an organization working on Bible translation and it is also an indigenous organization that causes me to join.
